The Culinary tour provides visitors with a hands on experience while supporting the community. Visitors benefit health wise and their entire visitor experience is enhanced - they learn something new which they can pass on their return home and which at the same time promotes Dominica's image as a natural tourism destination

's Story:
I was inspired by this tour as it makes visitors participants in the community tourism development process. Too often, visitors come and go and pass through communities without getting a chance to interact with them. The culinary tour is a chance for visitors to savour our natural produce particularly given the need to inculcate healthier eating patterns. Dominica boasts of a number of centenarians and it is because of healthy eating habits that this has happened. What better way to teach visitors who come here for a memorable experience which at the same time enables them to relax while eating healthily!
