Alexandra has lots of stories to tell.
Tourists can try local food, listen to old and young and experience the generosity of people who have not much money but always a cup of tea or a cold drink to offer. A nursery is run by Peggy Chauke, one of the many in Alexandra, but this one stands out, because it has been looking after children for many years in spite of not getting any sponsorship from government, because the lady in charge has for many years not brought a salry home and yet still carried on. Because people can see that theri children are well looked after and they get an education. Toursits from any part of the world come to this small township and remmember it for ever.

's Story:
Richard, Peggy, and others inspire me because they have no money but a lot of energy, because they help when nothing seems to be possible, because they do not give up. If there is a shack which has burnt they go and collect money and make sure the children get a decent place in the cemetery. They do not look at fatih or background or nothing. Nico is another young member who has gone through a lot of challenges in life, has lost many time his belongings and yet he always has a smile on his face. I know a lot of oganizations but this one maybe inspires me most because the guys are alway looking for chANGE; THEIR DREAM is to build a community place where the children can come to after school care, the elderly can occupy themselves during the day and youngsters can learn vocational skills.
